This meeting will take place in place of our usual Thursday meeting

Our final meeting of 2009 will be held in a City Centre pub.

First showing of 'The Age of Stupid' in Roundhay, in partnership with Saint Andrew's United Reformed Church at the Church Hall, Shaftesbury Avenue, Leeds LS8 1DS.

To raise funds for our charities

There will be a small fee for the summer barbecue which is likely to be around £3.

In aid of Wheatfields Hospice, and to celebrate their 125th anniversary, we will be helping the Rotary Club with bag packing at Marks & Spencer on Briggate. The target is to raise £1000 each day, with collections taking place over a number of weeks.

We will be holding a fundraising collection at Morrisons in the Merrion Centre on Woodhouse Lane on 6 June. This will be to raise funds for the Prosthesis Foundation £1000 target.

Another International Food Night will be held in place of our regular meeting on 21 May 2009. Please arrive early if you require preparation or re-heating. Access to the chapel's kitchen will be permitted and alcohol is allowed on site. Friends or colleagues are also welcome!

This date has been pencilled in as the date when the club will be helping out at St George's Crypt in advance of their re-location back to the City Centre.

The meeting on 20 November will be the rearranged Poker night. Chips, cards and lesson will be provided to the best of our ability!

Clearing the car park at Chub to raise £100 towards our Prosthesis Foundation fundraising efforts

Ten pin bowling at Hollywood Bowl on Kirkstall Lane. Cost is usually £4 per adult per game, or £9 for three games. There isn't a student discount during the week.

On Bank Holiday Monday we will be having a barbecue in Hyde Park, subject to weather.

There will be a small fee, likely to be around £3 but beer will be included!
