Birds Nest Project

Takahiro, together with Tony and assistance from Meanwood Valley Urban Farm constructed, assembled and fitted a number of birds nests on the farm’s site at the end of 2007. Photos of the birds’ nests may be seen in the gallery.

Rings for Limbs

The Club has been heavily involved in the Prostheses Foundation’s Rings for Limbs project which involves collecting the ring pulls from aluminium drinks cans which are sent to Thailand to be used within artificial (prosthetic) limbs. Thousands of rings pulls have already been donated, but fundraising is also required in order to be able to ship the boxes to their Asian destination.
