Thanks to the Rotary club and fellow Rotaract members who attended the ten pin bowling challenge on Tuesday. Well done to the Rotary team for winning both games, but points off for having a league player on your team!

Car Park Clearing

As part of the club’s fundraising efforts to raise £1000 for the Prosthesis Foundation, we will be clearing the car park at Chubb, Canal Place, Leeds on Saturday 4 October. This will involve removing weeds and overgrown plants as well as any litter than has found its way onsite. All equipment will be supplied and it shouldn’t take more than a couple of hours to complete for a few of us.

If you would like to be involved please contact us before the event. I will send out directions and meeting times to those that wish to attend.

Thanks very much to Chubb who will donate £100 for the work carried out.

Rotary Lunches

The Rotary Club of Leeds have confirmed that Rotaract members may attend their lunches that take place on the fifth Friday of the month. The next meal date is therefore 29 August and advance notice needs to be given to those who wish to attend. A discount for Rotaract members may also be available.

New Location

Tonight we had our first meeting in the new temporary location of the Pullman Suite at the Golden Lion Hotel. Thanks very much to all who attended, especially the three new faces of Karen, Maggie and Michael. Thanks also to Steph for letting us use the room for the next few months.
